I just finished an awesome 2 hour workout. I can barely move right now and am shaking like a leaf and it feels amazing. It was great because the girl who is so determined to lose weight now joined me and couldn’t even make it through an hour. I did five miles on the treadmill (3.12 running, then intervals of hills and speeds) and burned 700cal. She barely ran, barely put up the speed and didn’t make it over 1.5 miles. Then she went onto the elliptical and after I finished up my hour on the treadmill I joined her. Every time I would speed up she’d FREAK OUT and start trying to go faster than me. She went like 2ish miles and burned like 200cal whereas I did intervals and burned 333 bringing my total calories burned to 1033! =) she left before I even finished the elliptical and half the time I was on that she spent doing incorrect planks and sitting on the floor. 

After the elliptical I did leg lifts which I have never done and was surprised by how much they actually worked your leg out. I did a bunch of ab work outs and attempted weights but it was about this time that the shaking set in so I thought it best to give up. I barely ate breakfast at all today which I think is what kept me from going longer, but whatever that was a legit workout. On my way to summer clothing! 

New Year’s Resolution

I’ve finally figured mine out. I’m going to get a journal and every week lay out an everyday life goal and/or diet goal and a fitness goal. Each goal will only be for the week, I will keep track of it everyday and they will change every Sunday. It seems a bit more reasonably and do-able to just focus on 7 days of one thing that will improve my person. For example, this week my goals are: 1. do ab exercises at least once everyday and 2. floss twice a day. Simple yet good things to be doing. And next week I think my fitness goal will be to go to bikrham (hot) yoga every day. It will be a wonderful 2012 working towards the perfect me

Day 9 - Brief Plans for the Holiday

Decorate the crap out of my house and get the most brilliant Christmas tree. Drink sugar free hot chocolate and bask in the awesomness of Christmas lights and Christmas music. Also, keep up with exercise and resist food… or find really good high protein, low carb/cal meals to make so my parents don’t stuff me full of food and fat

I feel like everyday I have been waking up to the lowest weight I’ve been since before high school! I lost a pound and am now 147.8! I’m so excited! I didn’t exactly make it to my 145 goal by thanksgiving break, BUT lets see if I can somehow manage to hit that before I come back from break on Saturday night. Hello new motivation for not eating!

Yeah, I’m actually doing this. it’s weird and not the prettiest but its a slight change and I need it to keep me motivated through thanksgiving!

I know, it’s gross and it’s definitely still a work in progress. Hopefully soon it won’t be so horrendous 

abs

So I just laughed and my abs hurt. :) it seems ridiculous (and it kinda is) but I’m super pumped about that. A couple days ago I can across a picture that said something like “do 25 crunches. do 25 side crunches (i assumed they meant 25 on each side) and finally do 25 reverse crunches. I have done that the past two days … only once each day and my abs are on freakin fire. That shit works. Like it burns and if you really aren’t that built in your ab region you kinda look comical whilst doing it and I would suggest doing it your room and actually doing it. It’s fantastic. 

One of my big goals is to get a really small, tight core. At my school we have Dance of the Decades and I wanna dress up “cavemen” cause I feel that’s what all the beautiful, skinny girls do. So it’ll be a revealing outfit and I want to look bomb in it. Like this girl, though her expression is kinda insane… but whatever. It’s going to happen
